These twist sticks are an easy to make, delicious savoury snack. They are also great served along side a bowl of soup or a salad!

So nice to enjoy in this rainy weather Ingredients 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour (or self raising flour) 1/2 tsp baking powder 1 tsp salt 1 tsp coarse black pepper powder 1 tsp oregano flakes 1 tsp ajwain 1/2 cup cheese (optional) 1/2 cup milk 4 tbsp oil Method -Preheat the oven to 180C -Add all the dry ingredients into a large mixing bowl and lightly mix until incorporated -Add the oil and milk into this and stir to form a dough -Knead the dough well, for 3 to 4 minutes -Roll out the dough into a rough circle between 2 sheets of baking/parchment paper. Cut out fine strips and gently twist them to take the shape of the twisty stick *alternatively, just cut into rectangles, squares or circles -Bake at 180C for 15 to 17 minutes
