Seviyan Kheer

Seviyan Kheer also known as vermicelli kheer, is a delicious Indian dessert made using vermicelli and milk. Here is how to make it.


1/2 cup vermicelli

2 cups warm milk

1/2 cup condensed milk

3 tbsp dried fruits and nuts

1/4 tsp cardamom powder

1 tbsp ghee


-Roast the fruits and nuts in the ghee

-To this, add the vermicelli and roast until browned

-Add in the warm milk and cook on a flow flame for around 6 min or until it has softened and cooked well

-Add in the condensed milk and cook until thick

-Lastly, sprinkle the cardamom powder and give it a quick stir

-Garnish with more nuts and serve either warm or chilled
