Potato & Oat Crackers

Continuing with the potato series, I made these potato and oat crackers with dill.

We dipped them in some ketchup and relished it all in one go!!


1 cup oats

1/2 cup wheat flour

3 tbsp oil + 1 tbsp butter

1 cup mashed potato

2 tbsp chopped dill

2 tbsp yogurt

1 tsp chili flakes

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp baking soda


-Preheat the oven to 180 C

- Boil and mash the potato

- Roughly grind the oats

-Add the oats and the wheat flour in a bowl. To this add the salt, chili flakes, baking soda and dill and mix well

-Add the oil and softened butter to the above and mix lightly to get a breadcrumb texture

- Add the mashed potato and yogurt and knead into a dough

- Roll it between 2 sheets of baking paper and cut the desired shapes

- Bake for 10 minutes. Then turn on the other side and bake for another 10 minutes
