Jam cookies

These jam cookies will guarantee smiles at tea-time!
They were a hit with the kids
Ingredients
100 gm soft butter
40 gm powdered sugar
1 egg white
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt
160 gm all purpose flour
1 tbsp thick jam

Method
Preheat the oven to 180 C
Whisk the butter and powdered sugar together until incorporated
Next add the egg white, vanilla extract and salt
Finally add the flour and mix well
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
Place the dough into a pastry bag with a large star tip and pipe the cookies onto the tray
Put a dollop of jam in the center of each cookie
Bake for 12 min
