Banana Oatmeal Muffins

Packed with nutritious ingredients, these make a wonderful guilt free breakfast or a snack.

Preheat the oven to 180 C Ingredients •1 cup wheat flour •1/2 cup oats •1 tsp baking powder •1/2 tsp salt •3 ripe bananas •3/4 cup brown sugar • 1 egg •1/4 cup soft butter

Method •In a large bowl, combine the wheat flour, oats, baking powder and salt. Stir it together with a fork. •In another bowl, mash the bananas and to this, add the egg, butter and sugar and give it a whisk until smooth. •Pour this wet mixture into the flour mixture and fold it all together gently. •Fill up muffin liners and sprinkle some brown sugar and cinnamon among powder on the top (if desired) •Bake for 15 minutes
